Revamp guidelines for reservation

Deputy Speaker N. Sakthan has called for a total revamp of the existing guidelines for reservation in the State. Addressing the conference of Ganaka-Kanisa Sabha here on Tuesday, he said the existing guidelines have been denying opportunities for many eligible candidates. The backward communities such as Ganaka-Kanisa Sabha too should be provided with reservation for higher education and jobs, he said
